The San Lawrenz Local Council recently reached an agreement with the international company General Electric, that on the occasion of ‘Day for the World’, they would offer an energy saving light bulb to every family in San Lawrenz.
San Lawrenz Mayor, Noel Formosa said that he was extremely pleased that such a well-known company had accepted to be part of the event and urged all San Lawrenz residents to participate in the activity, which is being held on the 13th of June.
In the meantime, San Lawrenz school children are taking part in various activities aimed at finding the best use for recyclable materials.
