PL Leader Dr Joseph Muscat ended his visit to Gozo today at a political activity held in Sannat. Speaking to the crowds that filled the village square, he stated that “decisions taken, must be of the people, for the people.”
He said that a new Labour Government will be adopting the open Government concept, a process which will strengthen the principles of transparency and accountability, as well as encourage more citizen participation.
“This concept will give all citizens the opportunity to participate and directly influence the decisions taken by the government. Related to this, access to government information will be improved and strengthened, primarily through on-line sources, once again enhancing Government transparency.”
The Labour Leader received loud applause from the crowds, saying that those who are thinking of voting for Labour for the first time, would be encouraged to join the movement and they will be helping to make the change towards a new direction
