Zebbug Local Council has said that hopefully it will be the first village in Gozo to write its name on The Malta Records Books, by constructing a Large Christmas Tree using a ‘Christmas Log.’
The event, which is being organised for the first time by the Council, will take place, from this Friday, the 21st of December 2012, at The Zebbug Parish Centre situated in the main square of the village.
The general public is invited to visit the Centre and and this unique form of ‘Christmas Tree’ and purchase portions of the “mouthwatering Christmas Log.”
All proceeds will go to a very worthy cause, Puttinu Cares, the organisation which helps children who are suffering from cancer, as well as their families.
The Council said, “please help us help Puttinu Cares, visit the Zebbug Parish Centre, take a portion, sign your name on a special Christmas Card and be part of this First Malta Record Attempt!”
