St Theresa College organises two days of charity events

A charity activity is being organised in conjunction with Gestfest at St. Theresa College Girls’ Secondary, at Mriehel. For this 23rd edition, the beneficiaries are the Community Chest Fund, Caritas (Malta), Cystic Fibrosis Trust, The Ladybird Foundation and the school Benevolent Fund.
The students have been provided with authorised sponsor sheets and are doing their utmost to collect monetary donations from their locality. Fund raising activities are being organised throughout mid-day breaks for the first term.
The highlights of this charity activity are centred around two particular days. The first day of fund raising is on Sunday, the 18th of November 2012, from 7.00am to 1.30pm.
An open day is going to be organised at St.Theresa College G.S. Mriehel. There will be activities for all the family members including a walk and jog event, a car show, bike rides and a BMX show, abseiling, a dog training school, pony rides, a demonstration of first aid and fire engine, a Premier football league team, a pet show, a bazaar, catering, athletic seminars and athletic nursery group training. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Friday, the 30th of November 2012, the last day of this marathon charity activity, will conclude with the traditional Fun Run and other entertainment, from 12.00am to 1.45pm during school hours at St. Theresa College Mriehel.
A host of school students, coming from the St.Theresa College and other schools will be enjoying a 1.2km fun run in aid of the above charities. The proceeds collected will be distributed to the directors of the charity institutions on this day.
