The Bank of Valletta has signed a partnership agreement with the Gozo Business Chamber. The agreement was signed by Igino Xuereb, Chief Officer Operations at Bank of Valletta and Joseph Grech, President of the Gozo Business Chamber. They were accompanied by Joseph G Grech, CEO of the Gozo Business Chamber and Jack Thewma, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Gozo Branch.
Speaking during the signing Mr Xuereb said, “As the leading Bank on the Maltese Islands we are fully aware of the many commercial opportunities that exist in Gozo and the potential of our sister island. This partnership agreement between Bank of Valletta and the Gozo Business Chamber will serve to create new business opportunities within the Island of Gozo, enhance the good ties that the Bank has in this region and help expand our presence within every sector of the Maltese economy.”
Mr Grech stated, “We are delighted to be associated with a dynamic institution like Bank of Valletta, which collaboration will definitely assist us in tapping new opportunities to the benefit of the stakeholders of both organisations.”
“The Gozo Business Chamber has been set up for the last eight years and has since attracted most of the major and smaller businesses in Gozo among its ranks,” concluded Mr Grech.
