GO has said this evening that a technical problem on one of GO’s international submarine cables in Sicily is resulting in a degradation of the internet service to customers.
“While technical teams are working to rectify the fault in the shortest time possible, contingency plans have already been put into action to use alternative GO infrastructure to minimise the impact,” the company said.
GO said that further updates will be issued once more information becomes available. “Needless to say, we apologise for the inconvenience and reassure our customers that everything possible is being done to rectify the situation in the shortest time possible.”
