On Saturday, a group of fifteen volunteers of the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps donated blood at the Blood Donation Department of the Gozo General Hospital.
Blood Donation activities are organised on a regular basis by the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps. The E,R,R,C, said that this will serve to promote and encourage blood donation in the Maltese society which usually attracts many first time blood donors. Only recently heart operations were cancelled at Mater Dei Hospital due to lack of blood shortage.
Whilst encouraging the public to donate blood, the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps would also like to thank the Gozo Blood Donation Department for its support.
