Delegation from Xaghra Council to visit Chevaigne Festival

A delegation from the Xaghra Local Council will be travelling to Chevaigne in France to attend a festival of arts, music and culture, between Friday, the 22nd and Tuesday, the 26th of June.
The Municipality of Chevaigne has invited Xaghra Local Council to the festival, with the aim is of enhancing and strengthening the friendship between these two municipalities.
During the visit there will also be the chance for discussions to take place on future initiatives and projects for which residents of both localities will be able to benefit from.
The Schola Cantorum Jubilate Choir will also take part in this event following an invitation by the Xaghra Local Council. This will be another opportunity for the choir to expand its music experiences abroad. Amongst other appointments, the choir will present musical concerts at Rennes Cathedral and at the Community Hall of the Chevaigne Municipality.
Mayor Joe Cordina, Deputy Mayor Aaron Agius and councilors Dr Christian Zammit, Victor Zammit, Dr. Joseph Attard and Dr Kevin Cutajar will attend on behalf of the Xaghra Local Council.
