The Fiori D’Argenta 2012 weekend gets off to a good start

Fiori D’Argenta 2012 got underway last night with motorcycle show, children’s show and traditional music and dance. Later in the evening Kurt Galleja entertained the crowds with his show.
The spectacular entertainment is taking place in St John the Baptist Square as well as the surrounding areas.The Festival continues today and tomorrow, with a farmer’s market, crafts, historic sites, a kid’s fair, falcon show and horse defile, to name just a few! D.R.E.A.M.S. is providing the entertainment for this evening.The largest traditional ‘Torta tal-Bajtar ta’ San Gwann’ has been baked and everyone can have a chance to taste and enjoy the finished result today.
The festival has been organised by the Xewkija Local Council and everybody is invited to go along and enjoy the weekend of fun, festivities and events, suitable for all ages.
