€2,300 raised through various events for Puttinu Cares

More than €2,300 has been raised for Puttinu Cares through various events organised by the staff of the Gozo General Hospital in collaboration with the Puttinu Cares Gozo Committee.
These events included a a ‘Fun Walk for Charity,’ which started from the main gate of the hospital, stalls selling plants, cakes and accessories, as well as a car wash which took place in the main hospital car park.
Mr Paul Buttigieg, the Manager of Nursing Services, thanked all those who had helped in organising these events, including the Police and E.R.R.C. for their attendance and support on the day. Mr Buttigieg also thanked those who had given donations and participated in the activities. He said that this was a show of solidarity with those going through difficult times during a terminal illness.
The Puttinu Cares Gozo Committee said that it would like to thank the sponsors of this event: Arkadia Marketing Ltd, Ta’ Callu Water Supplies, Flower Zone, Xerri Nursery, Sweet Passion and the Institute for Tourism Studies Gozo.
