New dog park opens today in Malta at Ta’ Qali National Park

Ta’ Qali National Park in Malta will see the opening later today of Malta’s first park dedicated to dogs and their enjoyment.
The park, is 1,000 square metres in size, with all manner of equipment relating to dogs and their training, their play including assorted hurdle jumps and walk ramps. There are also drinking facilities for the dogs as well as bins.
There will be entertainment at this afternoon’s park opening at 4.00pm and it will remain open until 7.00pm today.
The park will open from tomorrow for the public between 6.30am and 11.30pm (summer ) and between 6.30am and 7.30pm (winter).
The Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs said that families are allowed to take dogs into the National Park, apart from the area of the Adventure Park, providing they are on a lead.
