Addressing a large crowd in Victoria last night, the Prime Minister, Dr Lawrence Gonzi, appealed to the nation to put the country’s interest first and vote for the party that is offering them a solid vision based on an equally solid track record.
“Reflect well, the future of the country is in your hands on the 8th of March, place your faith in the Nationalist Party, which places its faith in you. Every day and every vote is precious in these last few days and there is an important choice to be made,” Dr Gonzi said.
The Prime Minister added, “Gozo has always been at the centre of the PN’s attention, PN policies have brought results. Malta and Gozo had always improved when PN was in government and when MLP was there it fell behind. We are proud of what we did, especially for Gozo. Ten years ago we had another party in government and Gozo was put aside.”
