The Electoral Commission notifies those persons whose name appears in the General Election Register published in October 2007 and who have not yet received their voting document for the general election as well as those persons whose name appears in the Local Councils Electoral Register published in October 2007 and who have not received their voting document for the Local Councils Election, that they may call personally at their local Police Station to collect their voting document by showing their identity card as follows:
from Wednesday 27th February to Saturday 1st March:
between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. and;
between 3.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.
Sunday 2nd March: between 8.00 a.m. and noon
In the locality of St Paul’s Bay voting documents shall be collected from the Qawra Police Station, while for the localities of Iklin, Lija, Marsaskala, Mellieha, Pembroke, Swieqi, Ta’ Xbiex and Fontana, voting documents shall be collected from the Local Council Office. All applicants must show their identity card.
Every voter should ensure that the voting document is in his possession as nobody will be allowed to vote without it on polling day, Saturday 8th March, 2008.
