HSBC Bank Malta plc has launched a new computer loan scheme in support of the Ministry of Investment, Infrastructure and Information Technology’s (MII&IT) “Computers for ? 0.99 per day” initiative.
Customers who avail themselves of this loan will benefit from a 50 % discount on standard processing fees and a special interest rate of 3.4% above base rate for the term of the loan. ( Base rate is currently 4% therefore effective rate is currently 7.4% ). Furthermore interest will not be charged for the first six months.
Repayment of the loan will be such that monthly repayment amount will be equivalent to €0.99 daily repayment.
