The annual Harold Scorey Scolarship in Broadcast Journalism

The Harold Scorey Scholarship in Broadcast Journalism is offered annually by the Government of Malta with the aim of improving journalistic standards in the local broadcasting field.
The bursary is open to journalists working in the local broadcasting media or aspiring journalists who are interested in developing their skills in broadcast journalism, that is, journalism which portrays news and events through traditional or modern audio/audiovisual media.
The scholarship consists of a bursary not exceeding €3,000 and is intended to cover full or partial costs of training (professional courses or attachments) in broadcast journalism.
The successful candidate must make use of the scholarship during 2012. All applications will be examined by a board specifically appointed to conduct the selection process.
