Joseph G. Scerri is new Executive Head of Heritage Malta

Joseph G. Scerri has been appointed Chief Executive of Heritage Malta, commencing his new position on 22nd of January 2012.
Mr Scerri joined the Public Service in 1986 and became a teacher after graduating from the University of Malta in 1992 with a Batchelor of Arts in psychology and sociology and took the PGCE.
In September 1998, Mr Scerri was appointed Head of Secretariat at the Ministry of Interior. Between 2003 and 2008, Mr Scerri was the Head of the Secretariat of the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Secretariat in the Head of Secretariat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In June 2009 Joseph Scerri was appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Gozo.
Joseph Scerri is married to Gisele Sewat née Bonnici and has two children.
