The body of the missing British diver, Paul Swain, 49, who went missing during a dive at the MV Xlendi shipwreck on the 3rd of November, has been located in the sunken ship today by a team of volunteers and Civil Protection Department divers.  The divers will attempt to recover the body tomorrow morning if the weather permits. Mr Swain was one of a group of divers exploring the wreck, which lies upside-down at a depth of 45 metres off Xatt l-Ahmar near Ghajnsielem. Earlier this year the Fundazzjoni Folkloristika ta' Klula commissioned the well-known historian Rev. Dr Joseph Bezzina to write the history of Santa Lucija, in a concise form. Now everyone can read about the history of the village, spanning a few thousand years, in the new 88-page booklet. The title of the new booklet is 'Santa Lucija the first village in the Maltese Islands' and is the latest title in the Gaulitana series (Book no 27). The booklet was launched during an event organised at Pjazza Santa Lucija on the history and heritage of Gozo. The Majjistral Nature and History Park Management (Din l-Art Helwa, Gaia Foundation, Nature Trust (Malta)) would like to announce that the popular guided Sunday nature walks in the park are starting again as from Sunday 23rd November at 2pm (against a fee). The walks, launched earlier this year proved very popular with locals and foreigners alike and around 500 persons attended the Sunday walks between February and May. On the occasion of the arrival in Malta of the RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 on her last voyage towards Dubai, MaltaPost p.l.c. Philatelic Bureau is issuing a set of 4 stamps in the maritime series, entitled 'Cruise liners'. The departure of the Queen Elizabeth 2 from Southampton on November 11 marks the end of an era which will see the last of the great ocean liners sail through the Mediterranean and the Suez Canal en route to her final resting place in Dubai. 'Every heart has its beat, the Mediterranean has Malta.' This dynamic slogan represents the creative work of a young group of students from St Margaret College who together with various schools, were given the opportunity to experience hands on what it feels like to be responsible for Malta's tourism industry. This innovative activity was held by the Tourism and Sustainable Development Unit within the Parliamentary Secretariat for Tourism as part of the activities dedicated to Youth around Europe.
