Xewkija man killed in motorbike accident in MaltaA 37-year old man from Xewkija, was killed in the early hours of this morning in a collision between his motorbike and a car.

The accident happened at around 3.30am this morning in Valletta Road near Mdina. The car driver was a 23-year old man from Mgarr, who was taken to hospital, the extent of his injuries are not yet known.

Rescue teams carried out extensive searches, but had not been able to locate the body of the motorcyclist. It was found some five hours later after a helicopter search crew spotted it in a nearby tree.

The road is currently closed to traffic.

      i am realy sad that he had to die, i blame the police that they did not find him right away, if they did he might be still alive, here in Malta if something bad happen everyone well die, cause they dont know nothing about helping and finding people missing, all they want is money in there pocket,
