Gozo SPCA is pleased to inform everyone that the German Shepherd dog which was found on Sunday night was reunited with his owner this morning. He saw the item about his dog on One News and called the Gozo SPCA Animal Welfare Officer immediately. He was very happy to have his dog back in good health and gave Gozo SPCA a donation in thanks. The Gozo SPCA spokesman said that the owner was going to get the dog micro chipped as soon as possible. If the dog had already been micro chipped Gozo SPCA would have been able to return him to his owner as soon as he was found.

With thanks to all who publicised the dog’s plight, Gozo SPCA really appreciated the cooperation of the media in this matter – bringing a swift and happy ending.
