On the 29th and 30th of July Marsovin is planning to hold the third edition of the Marsovin Gozo Summer Wine Festival inside the Citadel in Victoria, Gozo. Similar to the larger event organized in Malta, this event is not only to promote Marsovin’s wines but also to present a cultural event tied to a Mediterranean theme.
The event will be a smaller version of the Marsovin Summer Wine Festival in Malta though still well planned to host one of Malta’s favourite entertainers, Tribali, who will be playing an improvised jam accompanied by one of Malta’s best Belly Dancers.
Tribali are a group of Maltese musicians who came together to celebrate their love of world music. Whilst placing great emphasis on ethnic rhythms, Tribali incorporate the beauty and pathos of music from the orient. The eclectic musical influences of the band include amongst others, world music, reggae, pop, rock, classical and jazz of which they channel into their unique sound. Their diverse use of instruments embraces percussion, flute, didgeridoo and sitar to name a few, whilst the accompanying vocals complete the whole sonic vibe. A powerful stage presence is further energized by their use of visuals thus dramatically stimulating the audience.
The Third Edition of the Marsovin Summer Wine Festival event will be taking place between 7.30pm and 12.30am.
A park and ride facility has been organised from the Victoria Car Park to the Citadel from 7pm onwards
