‘Salib tad-Dejma' cross in Nadur's main square restoredAs part of the celebrations of the Feast of St Peter and St Paul, the inauguration took place of the restored ‘Salib tad-Dejma’ cross in Nadur’s main square. The cross is believed to date back to 1718.

The restoration was undertaken by the Nadur Local Council, with funds received from the scheme for the restoration of niches and other small historical places

Present for the inauguration was the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, the Bishop of Gozo, Mgr Mario Grech and Chris Said, Parliamentary Secretary for Consumers, Fair Competition, Local Councils and Public Dialogue, who presided over the inauguration.
