24 BOV cardholders win their money back in the first draw

BOV-Cards-Xmas.jpgTwenty-four BOV cardholders have won their money back in the first draw of the BOV Cards Promotion that is currently underway. The promotion, launched on the 2nd December 2007, consists of a lottery whereby all cardholders who shop, dine or travel and pay using a BOV Card, become automatically eligible to win back the amount spent up to a maximum of Lm64.40/€150. Merchants are also participating in this promotion with the first four winning merchant establishments being SMART Supermarket, AMCA Ltd, The Admiral Pub and GBY Dispensing Chemists.

During the lottery draw, John Pollacco, Head of Card Services at BOV, highlighted the Bank’s ongoing efforts to find ways to add value to both cardholders and business customers. “The BOV ‘Shop & Win’ Christmas Lottery is yet another incentive to award customer loyalty, thereby strengthening business relations.” Mr Pollacco went on to add, “We also wish to highlight the importance of using a BOV Card to effect payments during the Euro changeover period, thereby reducing the circulation of Maltese Liri, whilst eliminating the requirement to effect currency changes once the Euro is adopted.”

This was the first draw under the BOV Cards Promotion, which will continue until the 31st January 2008. A second and final draw will be held on the 6th February 2008. This first draw covered purchases and transactions processed between the 2nd December and the 10th December 2007, whilst the final draw will cover transactions processed from the 11th December 2007 up to the 31st January 2008.
