Two British men have been arraigned at the Gozo Courts, they have both been charged with theft and assault. Barry C. Lee, 43, and Daniel A. Holmes, 29, both from England but residing in Xlendi and Marsalforn respectively, were charged with stealing a boat and a car.
They were further charged with damaging a vehicle, assaulting and slightly injuring another person and attempting to cause grievous injuries to another person.
Magistrate Dr Anthony Ellul refused the two men bail and ordered that they should be kept under preventive arrest at the Corradino Corrective Facility in Malta.
