‘Paesaggi’ is Victor Agius’s next solo exhibition, which is to be held at the Exhibition Hall of the Nadur Local Council, North Street, Nadur. The exhibition is to be inaugurated by the Italian Ambassador in Malta, Paolo Andrea Trabalza, this coming Saturday, the 17th of November. It will remain open for public viewing until the 9th of December, opening hours are from 8.00am till 4.00pm daily.
Victor Agius, was born in 1982, he is a full-time art teacher by profession who despite his young age is incessantly working hard to express his inner artistic mood. This current exhibition is a continuum of an art project which he begun last August with a solo art exhibition which he held in Italy. He is now giving a manifestation of landscapes depicting both local and Italian scenes.
His works vary in style and include both impressionistic and expressionistic landscapes. In the former style the artist gives attention to details, while in the latter Agius is more free in his brush work. One can in some of his works admire his vibrant and audacious colour which give an original and creative atmosphere to his works.
