Red Cross Gozo Branch Lifeguards save 3 people at RamlaToday at around midday, lifeguards had to spring into action to save three people who found themselves in difficulties whilst swimming at Ramla Bay in Gozo.

The three persons concerned were observed by the lifeguards to be struggling against today’s high waves and undertow currents out in the bay.

The Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch said it would like to point out to to the general public that swimming should not take place when the lifeguard towers are displaying two red flags.

A very big well done to all theLifeguards of the Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch. One must note that not only do they help others in danger but place themselves at risk as well.

True dedication and commitment is being shown by all throughout the summer months be it at Ramla or Comino, (where another post is set up).

Again a very big well done and a very big thank you to all!!
