Three persons or institutions are to be chosen by an independent adjudicating board, following nominations by the public for the prestigious award of Gieh Ghawdex. The award is given to leading personalities and organisations who, through their work have given, or are giving, outstanding contributions to the socio-economic and cultural development of Gozo.
The awards are organised by the Circolo Gozitano and this annual event is being supported by HSBC for the third consecutive year. Richard Mercieca, HSBC’s Gozo Area Director said, “HSBC is committed to play a significant role in the social life of Gozo’s community and supporting Circolo Gozitano’s events helps us do just that.”
The awards ceremony is to be held at Ta Cenc Hotel on October the 28th.
