The MUT has said today that they are suspending industrial action in state schools in Malta and Gozo, in light of a communication received from the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Education, Labor and Family,.
The Union said that the communication served as a good basis for discussion with a view to reaching an agreement on the points over which they had expressed concern.
The MUT had previously ordered the action because teachers had been instructed to carry out some duties that were not strictly related to teaching.
