Melita Sports and WWE® renew broadcast partnership

Melita Sports and WWE® renew broadcast partnershipMelita Sports and World Wrestling Entertainment® (WWE) have announced the renewal of their broadcast agreement for an additional three-year term.

The new deal includes the brand new WWE Superstars®, a high profile show that incorporates the top talent from Raw® and SmackDown®.

Melita Sports subscribers can catch Raw, Smackdown, WWE NXT® and now WWE Superstars weekdays at 7.15pm, as well as all the WWE Specials which are broadcast for no additional fee on Mondays at 7.15pm.

Dominic Hayes, Vice President and Managing Director of International Television and Digital for WWE, added, “WWE is delighted to be renewing and broadening our agreement with Melita Sports. The new addition of WWE Superstars to the programming schedule means that WWE fans in Malta will now be able to see more original WWE action than ever before.”

“Melita Sports continues to provide WWE fans with an opportunity to watch their favourite Superstars in action. The agreement includes the brand new and exciting show WWE Superstars, which has been added exclusively to the Melita Sports schedule” said Ivor Micallef, Melita’s TV Product Manager.

Confirming itself once again as the “Home of the Champions,” this season Melita Sports is delivering the best sports content from the major European domestic and international sports leagues including UEFA Champions League, Barclays Premier League, Serie A, UEFA Europa League, Spanish Primera Liga, Bundesliga and selected matches from Malta’s BOV Premier League.
