Drainage work is currently being carried out by the Central Government at Triq ix-Xemmiex and Triq Gregorio Caraffa. When this work is finished, the two roads will be tarmaced.
Other drainage work by the Central Government was recently carried out at Triq l-Imgarr to make it possible for the new pumping station at San Blas to start working soon, all the drainage from the San Blas outlet will then be diverted to Ras il-Hobz at Ghajnsielem.
