The 19th edition of the Nadur Organised Carnival was held this afternoon at the St Peter & St Paul Square.
It featured 31 events, Il-Kumittiva, Miss Nadur Queen Carnival, Melissa Attard, Miss National Carnival, Miss Queen Carnival, Katharina Watson from Desborough (Great Britain), dance groups, the Mnarja band, Big Friends GuggenMusik 2008, Carnival costume groups, l-Andar traditional music group and floats with the presentation by Ronald Briffa.
The programme was interrupted for 20 minutes due to a rain shower but continued afterwards and finished for the weekend at around 5.00pm. The programme ended with the traditional Kukkanja.
