The stories covered in this weeks issue are:

1. The Friends of the Crib, Gozo-Malta which last year celebrated its 25th anniversary, held its annual exhibition at the Gozo Ministry. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Minister Giovanna Debono and blessed by Mgr. Mario Grech, Bishop for Gozo. Before the opening, Joseph Galea, president delivered a welcoming address.

Around 90 cribs made out of terracotta, polystyrene, papier mache and other materials were on display. The exhibition also included a crib made out of jeans and a good number of cribs presented by Victor Agius, art teacher on behalf of the school children. The exhibition closed on January 1.

2. As in previous years, the Legion of Mary, Gozo, held a session of Christmas Carol singing and lesson reading this time in the Fontana Parish Church. Mgr. Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo presided over the meeting and the Anglican Pastor, Chancellor of St. Paul’s Anglican Pro- Cathedral in Valletta, Canon Simon Godfrey also took part.
