Updated: During the last few weeks, the House of Representatives has been discussing the Government Financial Estimates for the next financial year starting on the 1st of January 2010.
As a follow up and as a means to explore the Gozitan dimension of the 2010 Budget, Circolo Gozitano will be holding a public discussion with the theme, "How the 2010 Budget is going to address Gozo’s needs."
All Gozitan M.P.’s have been invited to participate in this discussion and Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Chris Said, Fredrick Azzopardi for the PN, Dr Justyne Caruana and Dr Anton Refalo for the MLP have confirmed their participation in the discussion.
The discussion activity will take place at the Circolo’s premises at 6, Adrian Dingli Street, in Victoria on Sunday the 6th of December 2009 at 10.00am.
Dr. Joseph Ellis will be moderating this event.
Representatives of Gozo based organisations and members of the general public are invited to attend and take part in the discussion. Contributions from the floor will be allowed.
This activity forms part of a programme of activities that the Circolo Gozitano periodically organises in order to draw attention to the island’s needs.
