Joseph Bajada, who is 55-years old and from Xaghra, was today arraigned in court accused of herion trafficking.
The alleged offences took place in localities around Gozo during the last ten years. Magistrate Edwina Grima denied the accused bail and he was remanded in custody.
Police Inspectors Josric Mifsud and Frank Tabone led the prosecution.
