Christmas is set to kick off soon on Melita with the official launch of this year’s Music Choice Christmas radio channel. This is planned to go on air on the 30th of November for a whole month of non-stop festive tunes on channel 647. Music Choice’s Christmas- dedicated channel is a favourite throughout the festive season, churning out everyone’s best loved Christmas classics on a 24 hour basis without any interruptions.

The music channel, which is accessible to all Melita digital TV subscribers, brings together all the festive favourites from classic Crosby to Wintery Wham! and cheerful Slade. Boasting one of the most comprehensive repertoires, Music Choice brings you 50 years of the best Christmas music from a library of more than 2,000 tracks.

“The Music Choice Christmas Music channel appeals to all ages because it features both evergreen favourites as well as the best of the new Christmas releases for 2009, besides reworked versions of classic songs by today’s artists. And when you’re ready for the next big celebration starting at midnight on December 31st, Music Choice switches back to festive mode with the New Year’s Party channel right through to 6am on January 1st. The party-friendly mix will feature the biggest hits of 2009 as well as timeless singalongs from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
