Vodafone Malta has announced the winners of the Vodafone Girls competition, with Matthea Mercieca as the overall winner. Matthea will present an award on behalf of Vodafone during the upcoming 5th of December, Malta Music Awards. Matthea, together with the other announced Vodafone Girls Joelle Cortis, Thays Araujo Buhagiar, Monique Sciberras and Dawn Frendo, will feature in selected Vodafone’s advertising campaigns and representing Vodafone at various events.
Matthea won a Vodafone Mini PC. The final four Vodafone Girls each won a BlackBerry® smartphone whilst the other five semi-finalists won a Vodafone Internet Key each.
The first stage of the competition, which was open for females between 18 and 28 years, saw Vodafone choosing 10 finalists whose photos were then uploaded on Vodafone’s Facebook page. Everyone was invited to vote for these girls. The final five Vodafone Girls were announced, after also being judged on their personality and social skills. Voting for the winner continued through Facebook only.
