The Victoria Local Council is organising a Christmas Village in St George’s Square, starting this coming Sunday, the 22nd of November and will be open all week until the following Sunday, the 29th of November.
The square will be transformed into a Christmas village with festive wooden huts offering a range of merchandise related to Christmas, including a variety of decorations, cribs, crafts, cakes, traditional food, mulled wine, costume jewellery, and flower arrangements.
Choirs will be singing Christmas carols and there will also be a band and a clarinet quartet that will animate the evenings. Children can have their photos taken with Santa’s Sleigh.
The Christmas Village will be open from 10.00am -12:00pm, and 4.00pm – 7.00pm.
