The purchase of equipment donated to the CCU/ITU Ward was achieved by the fundraising efforts of the Gozo CCU Monitors Foundation.
A Plaque was unveiled to commemorate this event by Giovanna Debono, Minister for Gozo and the Vicar General blessed the new equipment. The Plaque lists all major donors to the Foundation as well as recognising all local businesses.Since the installation of the monitors, the Foundation has gone from strength to strength, raising further funds to install 6 ITU Beds in the Ward after the latter was refurbished. The Foundation continues its fundraising efforts to provide the CCU/ITU Ward with further vital life saving equipment, working closely with the Nursing staff, Consultants and Hospital Administrators.
The Foundation has been operating successfully since it’s inception in October 2006 and the Committee would like to extend their grateful appreciation to those who have supported, and continue to champion the Foundation and its objectives.
