An exhibition of Gozitan artists at San Anton Palace The San Anton Palace is hosting an exhibition of thirteen Gozitan artists, which was inaugurated yesterday by President George Abela. It is being held with view to granting the opportunity of promoting local talent and at the same time collect funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund. President Abela concluded by saying that many of the works, especially those showing aspects from the beautiful island of Gozo, show the much of the wonderful surrounding scenery of the islands.

This is the second exhibition being held at the San Anton Palace and is also the first one in which paintings and sculptures are exhibited by various Gozitan artists. The artists participating in this exhibition are: Anthony Camilleri, Chris Saliba, Denis Mompalao, George Scicluna, John Grima, Justin Falzon, Mario Abela, Mario Agius, Mark Sagona, Paul Falzon, Paul Stellini, Victor Agius and Vince Caruana.
