The wreckage of the Armed Forces of Malta Bulldog aircraft which crashed near Dwerja last Sunday, was recovered by an Italian Armed Forces Helicopter this morning.
In two separate operations the helicopter first lifted the badly damaged body of the aircraft, and then the engine which became detached in the crash. The wreckage was then transported in the back of a dump truck to Halfar Barracks in Malta.
