Arduina is a lovely medium sized bitch and about 3 years old. She came into Gozo SPCA Rehoming Centre when her puppies were just 2 days old (on August 3rd). She was a long term stray and gave birth in the garden of her namesake. She has the most wonderful gentle nature and although she guards her puppies from other dogs, she is happy for everyone to come and pet them.
The puppies, 3 girls and a boy are gorgeous roly poly bundles of fun. They have just started on solid food and we hope that they will be ready for homing at the end of September. Arduina was in very poor health when she arrived and has since improved beyond all expectations. We are thankful to her kind benefactor who has provided for all the extras that she and the puppies need.
Arduina is just one of the many animals at Gozo SPCA who is looking for a new home. If you think you can help then the Gozo SPCA will be very happy to hear from you. A gallery is also available which features all the animals that are currently in need of new homes, which may be viewed by clicking this link:
