Two antique gold necklaces have been stolen from St Augustines Church in Victoria. It is believed that the person or persons responsible for the theft either hid in the church when it was closed yesterday or found their way into the Church premises overnight.
The theft was discovered when the Church was opened this morning and it was noticed that items had been disturbed on the main altar. Police investigations are underway and continuing.
